An Attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions. Throughout my journey as a leader, I’ve felt deep gratitude at both the blessings and the trials I have faced.  Gratitude has forged a solid foundation for my heart to stand on during times of great loss and pain.  Most importantly, gratitude has given me an attitude that my friends have called “glass completely full, sunshine, a great capacity for love, graceful, strong, faithful, happy-zeal”…just to name a few.

It’s true,  I’ve always possessed an internal and external attitude of optimism, grit, compassion, and energy.  But I never owned it until recently.  The members of my tribe remind me (daily sometimes) to “be me” and never change my attitude of gratitude for what this life has taught me. These lessons I share daily with those who need the wisdom, those who pay it forward with the attitude of gratitude and care for others.
